Q&A Page

We have compiled a list of Q&A about the Peer Learning Hub. We will continue to update this page regularly.

Q. What do I get with the Peer Learning Hub?

What you will gain from the Peer Learning Hub is, without a doubt, your future. The catch is that you will acquire global job-hunting skills, but in reality, it will be a period of great thinking about which direction you should go. You will acquire excellent English skills, learn direction from role models, and gain experience in peer learning hubs around the world. After one to four years of living this way, you will have a good idea of where you are headed.

Q. In what countries are there peer learning hubs?

The peer learning hub was completed in 2023 in Sanuki City, Kagawa Prefecture. A peer learning hub is scheduled to start in Kirirom Plateau, Cambodia, also at the end of 2023. 2024 will see peer learning hubs in Tokyo and Silicon Valley. Singapore, Bangalore (Bengaluru), India, and Vancouver, Canada are also strong candidates. In Japan, peer learning hubs may be established in locations other than Kagawa and Tokyo.

Q. What is the tenancy period for the Peer Learning Hub?

The period of stay at the Peer Learning Hub is the same as the event period (1 week or longer) for event-type participation. For long-term participants, the minimum stay is 3 months, and can be extended if rooms are available. (Extensions may not be possible if the room is already booked.) Please note that long-term residents must apply to move out at least one month prior to moving out.

Q. What kind of people will be attracted?

It attracts people who are positive and willing to learn on their own. We are also trying to create a place where not only Japanese and Cambodians, but also young people from all over the world can gather.

Q. Can people who already start working move in?

Of course, working people can also move in. If you are a working person, you can move into the Peer Learning Hub while continuing to work remotely, so it is considered to be a work vacation type of use. If you have a job that does not allow you to bring your work in remotely, please consult with us.

Q. What kind of events will take place?

We are planning a socially responsible two-week camp for students from around the world in the Kirirom Plateau of Cambodia.
Peer learning hubs in various locations host regular social events, technology seminars, and global education events.

Q. Can I acquire engineering skills?

Yes. You can learn it. For those who wish to attend regular seminars for busy people or for serious reskilling as an engineer, master’s programs, undergraduate transfers, and auditing students at Kirirom College of Technology are available as options.
